This one day event is part of the National Community Rail week organised by ACoRP (Association of Community Rail Partnerships) to promote local railways and to celebrate Community Rail Partnerships.

The East Grinstead BIG DAY OUTis run by Sussex Community Rail Partnership and is designed to promote the East Grinstead Railway, local attractions, the town and the use of public transport ofr family days out.
