Eastleigh Cycling Map

Eastleigh Borough Council has an approved cycling strategy for the borough. Already major elements of a borough wide safe cycle route network have been built particularly in Eastleigh itself and Hedge End. In total there are over 44Km of dedicated cycle routes within the Borough with over 40 locations with cycle parking facilities, including the Borough's seven railway stations. A map showing all cycle routes and cycle parking facilities across the Borough is available on their website. A new leaflet showing cycle facilities in the Bishopstoke and Fair Oak area is also available. Designed in conjunction with Wyvern College, this highlights the network of off-road cycle routes, signalised crossing points, advice on cycle security and signs you may see.

The Ashford-Hamstreet-Hythe Cycle Route

The route featured here links Cycleway 18 (Tunbridge Wells and Tenterden to Ashford) with Cycleway 2 (Hastings and Rye to Folkestone and Dover). It traverses quintessential Kentish scenery including Orlestone Forest and Romney Marsh, and can be used as a useful link between Hamstreet and Ashford, as well as from Tenterden and the Weald to Hythe. The route uses hard-surfaced trails and quiet lanes.
